Bakery Parking

When you die God and the angels
will hold you accountable for all the pleasures
you were allowed in life that you denied yourself.

Over the weekend, the season's unusual and lengthy pelting rains gave way to an abundance of sunlight and warmth - outdoor wanderings and small adventures naturally followed. As is often the case, any small adventure can turn instantly into something beyond our initial imaginings (the trick is to be open to such things!). As was the case this weekend, pulling into a new nursery and finding the vacant space exhibiting a "Bakery Parking" sign. In that very moment you are free to accept a serendipitous invitation to find out how on earth a Bakery came to be located on the outskirts of a nursery. "Our customers travel for miles to indulge in our weekend cinnamon rolls," says the trendy-glasses, calm man behind the glass counter displaying the morning's array of sweet treat offerings. "Because you are a first-time customer the coffee is on us"... and the adventure grows even more generous. Things aren't always as they seem. Sometimes they are simply better.

About Me

My photo
I have always been inspired by my Grandfather's particular generosity and encouragement, along with his love for others and nature. His spirit lives on, and the influence is quietly with me as I write and share. This is my small offering that I pray will bless others and allow them to become Simply Inspired. warmly, karen -xok.

Each day provides its own gifts.
