Back home...

Summer Roses

"When you take a flower in your hand
and really look at it,
it's your world
for the moment.
I want to give that world to someone else.

- Georgia O'Keefe

To my way of thinking, coming back home from a holiday away is a perfect time for reflection. I was so grateful to be with my family, and to be given an opportunity to experience life through their eyes, and bask in their love. You see things a little bit differently when you take a break away, and it helps you to not take anything for granted. Summer roses look brighter, your fresh sheets feel crisper, and your familiar coffee mug welcomes you back so nicely.

I liked being away... and I also always love coming back home.

(I missed you all...)

Thank you for this sweet and helpful roadmap to coming back home, Karen! My return this past week was a bit rociy, so I find your reflective spirit and insights 'simply inspiring'! Keep one of those beautiful yellow roses of freedom for yourself! And I love your new banner - especially the butterfly! Betsy

Welcome Home!
you are always missed, but like those sheets I am crisper and fresher feeling after seeing your new banner and inspiring words today. I have always adored O'Keefe's painted flowers, they give me an "awe" affection afterwards, and your yellow beauties did too. Looking forward to some great blogs. Much love for the" refreshed" and family loved YOU.

Dearest Karen,

THANK YOU for coming to visit me, right after getting HOME! That is so kind, because one has much to do upon returning, but such kind words are always so welcomed.

HAVE FUN!! Anita

His spirit lives on, and the influence is quietly with me as I write and share. This is my small offering that I pray will bless others and allow them to become Simply Inspired. warmly, karen -xok.
