Spring Song

Spring Song
Photograph by: Karen Holmes

"Where is your water?
Know your garden.
It is time to speak your Truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself
for the leader."

- The Elders, Hopi Nation
Excerpted from "This is the Hour..."

Today I hope that you will hear your Spring Song,
and recognize the music of your garden.
Thank you for your goodness,
and for this creative community of belonging.

I love all the pictures of flowers!! Fuschia are one of my favorites--they look like ladies dancing in the wind. Thank you for all the lovely flowers and your lovely thoughts. My all of our Springs be full of God's blessings and hope for the future.

Daily I see your photos and words and know YOU are doing more for the world, and You are a success at it!
Thank you and I love drinking from the springs you share and create so beautifully, I am truly nourished.

Thank you for the beautiful invite to enjoy the spring song being played for me AS I listen and hear!!
The fountain reminds me of Suiwzerland and the 'eau portable' signs (French Suisse - Shelley will tell us the German version) permitting us to drink deeply of the cold, clear mountain water.
The Hopi wisdom is exactly what I need today as I step into a new community building effort - being reminded that each has their own responsibilty to take, and as we realize this and treat each other well in the creating and living of our community, we will form a strong bond. Surely, this is "knowing our garden". I am off to mine!

What a great post. It is always a good feeling to be a part of something a little bigger than yourself.
