"You get up like a bird,
You stretch,
You own the morning."
- John Maxwell
Yoga this morning... oh how I love to stretch and feel gratefulness that my body is responding like an instrument singing a well-practiced song. We often forget how much our bodies work so hard for us in the tiniest of ways and with such unperceived ease (bending, stretching, reaching, rejuvenating)... today I am remembering with thankfulness. The day is alive with gentle invitations - and I can only smile because I know that the choices are waiting to be lived...
Wishing you a gentle and beautifully inspired day...
Thank you for gathering with me here... I am so grateful for you...

Yoga is something I want to start doing. It is still waiting at the bottom of the list of things I want to do for myself...
Beautiful photograph, I love the light :-)
Enjoy your week-end
I have been doing yoga for 31 years and it is something I always look forward to and feel wonderful afterwards ~ very rewarding. My body really feels it when I miss a few days.
Gorgeous flowers - anemones?
xx~~
I have always wanted to take Yoga, Karen. It sounds so relaxing. A funny story about Yoga...my brother and his daughter were taking a yoga class, and the teacher went into a position that all of the class was supposed to get into. My brother and daughter tried to get into this position, and started cracking up, and during the whole class they couldn't stop giggling. Every time I think of yoga, I think of my beloved brother who passed away years ago.

Karen, such a beautiful photo, flowers and thoughtful post. Thank you!
Oh, what a beautiful post. It's so true that it's easy to take our bodies for granted. Thank you for reminding me of that. So happy to hear you got to start your day with yoga. That is the best.
