Summer Path...
Summer paths to consider…
Resting beneath a stand of genial shade trees…
The waters of a fountain singing to the air…
Iced lemonade in a beaded crystal glass…
The first lick of a hand-scooped ice cream cone…
A friend’s words (or photo) that stirs a breeze of inspiration…
A stranger’s out-of-the-blue unassuming smile…
A lithe stride encircled by a graceful white cotton dress…
A daddy’s tender kiss against his child’s cheek…
A song of hope being sung…
The first and last page of a book that changes you for the better…forever…
Being in the company of love…
The gentle scent of a white rose of peace …
A heartfelt prayer receiving a reassuring answer…

Karen, your list sure is inspired and gives me much to ponder. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday :-)
I look at your picture and I see possibilities, to go one way I will experience something, BUT if I choose the other way I get something else.
I wonder which path gets less travelled? Could that be the one I choose?
Today I learned that being principled is good, BUT being peaceful is grand. I have always chosen a highly principled life, and today I have decided to take a different path the one closer to all that you listed, filled with PEACE. Thank you for inspiring me to examine my path, and to learn to flow like the water smoothly over the rocks with a trickle of sound heard by me, not necessarily for anyone else, but filled with quiet kindness for me to ponder. Hope to see you along my path filled with peaceful reprieve, leaving principality to those other guys on the other path. Hope your June closes with dreams and wishes filled.
Karen, oh yes, that's a list that sings to my heart :-) ... I was wondering if the pictures were from the Zen garden? ... :-) sending lots of love your way!
is this your garden? it is so tranquil and beautiful in every way...a definite place to seek repose.
Karen,
What peaceful pictures--a lovely place to hide away. I wish all the world was like that. May your day be filled with peace and friendship and moments of revelation even in the midst of unwanted tasks and people who are less than kind.
