Be still and know...

"Be still and know..."
Psalm 46:10

When I take the time to be still, I dwell most fully in the simple and remarkable majesty of this universe we each call home. I recognize the familiar and welcoming song of a sweet bird calling out and inviting companionship. I am able to feel my heart's cadence that swishes anew with each life-giving beat, and I become more grateful for one more day of precious life. If I am very still - even in the midst of swirling influences and demands - I am often gifted with quiet natural beauty and out of the blue serenity and Grace.

Wishing you stillness and Grace today...

Ahhh...GRACE. That was my beloved mother's name, my name ANITA means grace, I was always told as a dancer that I had much grace, and it is GRACE indeed that has held me together for my life, and will usher me into His arms forever...thank you dearest for your visit and for this sweet post..Anita

Oh, I really liked that. I have a plaque above my desk, and it is a favorite of mine. It says "Make time for quiet moments, as God whispers and the world is loud." Thank you for reminding me to be still and listen.

Wow--Be Still and know that I am God. In this hectic busy world, what a refreshing thought. May we all have a day--a week--a month of knowing God through the stillness and quiet of His beautiful world and the caring, lovely people He has given us to share it with.

About Me

My photo
I have always been inspired by my Grandfather's particular generosity and encouragement, along with his love for others and nature. His spirit lives on, and the influence is quietly with me as I write and share. This is my small offering that I pray will bless others and allow them to become Simply Inspired. warmly, karen -xok.

Each day provides its own gifts.
