Autumn meanderings...

"Let us relish life as we live it,
find joy in the journey,
and share our love
with friends and family."

- Thomas S. Monson

To my way of thinking, autumn holds deliciously rich gaity and spirit. I welcome the deep copper russet glow found all along the season's paths... just waiting to be noticed. "Over here! Look here!" the season seems to say... and also this: "Let us be thankful together..."

How about you? ... where are you finding autumn this year... both in found color and shared journeys with loved ones...

I am thankful for you...

Autumn is here and with it all its delicious colours. I always feel like this time of the year is a time of introspection for me. A time to see what I have done so far and what still needs to be done...
I am thankful for you too Karen :-)

What lovely pictures of fall. I am such a summer person--I love the sun and warm days. I get a little sad when the cooler weather comes--I am never ready to let the summer go, but I know God has a plan and provision for all kinds of situations and for me autumn is a reminder that God provides the harvest and the rains for our benefit.
I so appreciate your words and inspiration. Pam xo

Autumn in Lancaster County is comin - but Late Summer still has her green robe wrapped tightly around the Amish fields! I saw a few trees with golden leaves yesterday and a few tumbling brown shadows. Your collage here gives me the burnished Beauty! Autumn for me is a dying time...but not in a negative way - rather in Harvest Bounty, Boldness and Glory. Altho not my favorite, I embrace the Season, knowing it's simply a natural part of Life's Cycle - which promises then to start anew after Winter's white Quiet. We all love the Glory - and then too need the Quiet.
